Many people may feel fed up with life, thinking how mundane it is.
This boredom could be because of the fact that we have become slave
to time. Whatever we do, we are limited by time. We'd be worried that
we couldn't finish our work if we go out and have fun. Phil Keoghan
writes in his book. 'No Opportunity Wasted: Ways to Create a List
for the Life You Want' that if we want to be happy, we should do something
different. Go to the movies or try out a new restaurant for a change.
Daniel Stern, a psychology professor of Geneva University, in his book
'The Present Moment in Psychotherapy and Everyday Life' writes that a
few seconds in which we are doing something new could give us some
sort for inspiration, the light of life.
Key to Happiness
1. Find your passion, do something you love.
2. Don't be workaholic. It's not healthy to work until you get yourself
sick and neglect other aspect of life.
3 Love other people and be compassionate to them.
4 Do not compare yourself to others. Is the grass always greener on the
other side of the fance? Focus on today and what you have.
5 Do not procrastinate and put off you work otherwise you wouldn't
be able to finish it on time.
6 Laugh, have a sense of humer. Robert Provine writes in his book
'Laughter : a Scientific Investigation' that laughing is good for every
system of your body. A 15 - minute laugh could actually burn the
calories.
7 Breathe in the pure air.
8 Tell your loved ones that you love them.
9 Balance yourself. Do not do something too fast or too slow.
10 Go out take a trip. Even a 10 - minute work or excursion would do
you good.
11 Exercise. It's the best way to reduce stress and keep you in shape.
12 Look at something green as green creates a relaxing effect on people.
